Rethought

In one foul sentence... I'm not going to continue Cubee Evolved.

Why? Cubee Evolved is not what I wanted to do. Actually, it's two different things I wanted to do, mashed together in some fuzzy way. First off I wanted to have a webcomic with a humorous focus on random stuff. Secondly I wanted to do something more challenging, art wise, than the original Cubee. Squares with faces aren't especially hard to draw...

That's pretty much how Cubee Evolved came to be... But, what exactly was Cubee Evolved? I now feel that I was only limiting myself in both of the two above mentioned things. I couldn't draw whatever I wanted because it had to do with Cubees in some way, and I couldn't include some jokes because they didn't fit in with this world I created for these "evolved" Cubees. I also think I got too influenced by various other comics I was reading at the time, especially Housepets!. Everything was just a mess.

So--now what? Should I maybe continue to do the original Cubee again, and start a completely Cubee unrelated comic beside it? Maybe a graphic novel? I dunno... Either way, nothing will most probably not happen until I've finished the redesign of ReFreezed.com.

...that felt like a lot of words. Time to proofread. Wo-hoo.
